Police and paramedics called out as car hits wall on Stoke road

Police and paramedics were called to a city road where a car had smashed into a wall. Emergency services were on Stoke's Campbell Road yesterday morning.

One ambulance was sent to the incident at around 11am with police also at the scene. A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a car that had crashed into a wall on Campbell Road, one ambulance attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered one patient, who was assessed but did not wish to be taken to hospital, so was discharged at the scene."

A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said: "We were called yesterday morning to reports that a car had collided with a wall on Campbell Road, Stoke. No-one was injured."
