Police and paramedics sent to three-car town centre smash
Police and paramedics attended a three-car pile-up - which triggered long delays across a town centre. Emergency services had been called out to Stockwell Street, in Leek, on Friday afternoon.
Officers had to direct traffic past the scene of the smash - with debris left across the road. It saw long queues on Stockwell Street, Mill Street, Buxton Road and Haywood Street.
The collision took place at around noon. Today West Midlands Ambulance Service says one man was assessed and discharged.

A spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a three-car collision on Stockwell Street. We sent an ambulance to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a man who they assessed for minor injuries before discharging him at the scene with self-care advice. There were no other patients."
