Police Pin Man To Ground Amid Clashes at Washington Square Park

Two police officers pinned a man to the ground in Washington Square Park on Saturday, June 5, as a large number of police tried to enforce a 10pm curfew.

The new weekend curfew was imposed by police and the city’s parks department amid safety concerns in the area, according to local reports. The park now closes at the earlier time of 10pm, rather than midnight.
