Police probe attempted raid at North Wales Tesco store
An attempted raid at a North Wales Tesco supermarket is being probed by police. Officers were called to the Ruthin store on Lôn Parcwr in the early hours of Wednesday.
Witnesses said there was a heavy police presence at the scene, with officers still outside the store at around 9am. The cash machine outside the store was reportedly taped off.
North Wales Police have now confirmed they are investigating an attempted break-in. A spokesman said: "Officers are investigating an isolated incident of attempted theft at Tesco Stores, Ruthin in the early hours of today (Weds).
