Police probe break-in at award-winning Stirling chippy
An award-winning Stirling chip shop was broken into in an early morning raid.
Vincenzo’s Fish and Chips, in the city’s Cowane Street, was targeted on Thursday morning.
Police Scotland said the incident was reported to them that day.

A spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing.”
It comes just months after the chip shop collected a gong for as the region’s top stop for grub.
It claimed the award at the Scottish Fish & Chip Awards 2024, with shops from up and down the country in attendance to celebrate the best of Scotland’s beloved industry.
The shop, run by Vincenzo Di Carlo, picked up two prizes on the night – for Best Fish Supper and Best Chip Shop – both for the central region.
