Police and Protesters Face-off on Sixth Day of Demonstrations in St. Louis

Protesters demonstrating over police violence rallied in Clayton on Wednesday, September 20, marking the sixth consecutive day of protests in the St. Louis Missouri, area.

Protesters gathered at the St. Louis Galleria shopping mall and then marched to Brentwood Blvd. South, where they confronted a police line, as seen in this video. Later protesters returned to the mall, where police issued orders to disperse, as seen in these videos.

The protest movement, dubbed “Stockley protests,” emerged after former St. Louis police officer Jason Stockley, who is white, was found not guilty in the fatal shooting of Anthony Lamar Smith, who is black. Credit: Twitter/Search4Swag via Storyful
