Police raid Birmingham property in connection with London attack
Armed police have carried out an overnight raid on a Birmingham property, which was reportedly linked to the attack in Westminster on Wednesday.
They launched a late-night raid on a second-floor flat above a row of shops on Hagley Road in Birmingham. Witnesses have said three people were taken away by police.
Mark Rowley, the Met's senior anti-terror officer, said six addresses have been raided in London, Birmingham and elsewhere overnight.
At the scene of the Birmingham police raid one witness said: "The man from London lived here."
