Police Release Body Camera Footage of Karon Hylton-Brown's Fatal Crash

Police have released body camera footage showing the crash that killed Karon Hylton-Brown in Washington on October 23.

Hylton-Brown died three days after his Revel electric moped collided with a car during an attempted traffic stop in Northwest DC.

Police said he was seen without a helmet, and driving on a sidewalk, prompting police to attempt a traffic stop.

This body camera footage shows police pursuing Hylton-Brown and the moment he is hit by a car as he exits an alley onto Kennedy Street.

Protests erupted in the city on October 27 as family members blamed officers for his death, reports said.
