Police release image of man after assault and criminal damage at haunted house

Police have released an image of a man they'd like to speak to following a report of criminal damage and assault at a haunted house.

North Yorkshire Police have released the CCTV image following an incident at Terror Tower on Foreshore Road in Scarborough. It happened at around 4.00pm on Saturday, May 11, 2024 when a male attempted to obtain a refund which escalated into him damaging the card payment device at the location and assaulting the member of staff.

According to the tourist attraction's website, Terror Tower is "a Haunted House attraction with a serious twist, combining live actors, animated scenes and special effects. Terror Tower uses high tech Animatronic figures, special lighting and high quality sound effects to create a very terrifying experience."
