Police release more details after man's body discovered in car park
Police have confirmed that a body found in a car park in Rugby was of a man aged in his 30s. Warwickshire Police as well as West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Woodside Park yesterday afternoon (September 8).
Locals reported seeing an air ambulance in the area hovering between Woodside Park and Wood Street. Medics confirmed that an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance was sent to the scene.
It followed reports of a 'medical emergency'. A WMAS spokesperson confirmed that the man was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.

"We were called to reports of a medical emergency near to Woodside Park at 1.28pm yesterday. One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene," the WMAS spokesperson said.
"On arrival, we discovered one patient, a man. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said that there is no further police investigation and a file is being prepared for the Coroner. The spokesperson confirmed that the man was aged in his 30s but did not release his name.
