Police Remove 'Highly Venomous' Snake From Florida Home

Police in Boynton Beach, Florida, said they removed a “highly venomous” coral snake from a residence recently, with bodycam footage showing the intervention.

Boynton Beach Police Department said Officer Hall was “perfect” for the job as he “grew up with snakes, loves reptiles and pretty much anything to do with the outdoors and nature.”

This video shows the officer using a brush handle and an empty cardboard box to catch the serpent.

The department said Hall had “no trouble capturing the highly venomous snake,” and that it was brought to Rosemary Scrub park. Credit: Boynton Beach Police Department via Storyful
