Police and residents on high alert over 'suspicious' markings outside homes

Police have been called in over 'suspicious' markings left outside homes. It comes as residents are also reporting about 'people taking photos' of their properties.

Norton Green Residents' Association has issued a warning to households.

It states: "There are reports from the village and the surrounding area of people taking photos of properties and leaving marks on them during the daytime. Presently we are unaware of any criminal intentions but please be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police. The police have been informed of these incidents and welcome any more reports of this nature for their intelligence."
