Police rush to 'machete fight' on Sutton Coldfield street as witness left feeling 'sick'
West Midlands Police officers are probing a 'machete fight' which left a witness feeling 'sick'. The force said patrols rushed to the scene following reports of a fight involving weapons on Gravelly Lane, near Chester Road on the border of Sutton Coldfield and Erdington last night.
One witness said she was left feeling "sick after three people were hurt" in the trouble at around 10pm yesterday, Thursday, November 14. She said one male was armed with a machete.
Police said officers attended and carried out inquiries, but those involved had fled the scene. No injuries were reported to them and the force appealed for information.

A police spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: "We were called to reports of a fight involving weapons in Gravelly Lane, Sutton Coldfield, at just after 10pm yesterday. Officers attended and carried out enquiries, but no-one was present and no injuries were reported to us.
