Police search after group injured in violent street attack in Nottingham
A group of three young men all suffered facial injuries after an attack on a Nottingham side street, police have said. The victims were walking down Clinton Street East, off Lower Parliament Street towards a nightclub.
Nottinghamshire Police, who were called to the scene at 4.40am on December 29, said all of the men required hospital treatment, including one who suffered a fractured cheekbone. The force have released CCTV images of a group of men who they believe have "valuable information" to the investigation.
PC Feron Thomas said: “The victims in this case suffered some significant injures and are understandably upset by what happened to them. We have now pursued a number of lines of inquiry and believe the people captured in these CCTV images have vital information.
“The sooner we can speak to them the better, so if you know who they are please let us know.” Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident 89 of December 29.
