Police find man with head injury who left Sunderland hospital before receiving full treatment
Officers have found a man who has left a hospital with a head injury.
The man was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital on Monday for treatment to a wound to the head. However, he then left the hospital at 2.15pm before medical staff were able to complete his treatment, walking in the direction of Hylton Road.
Officers were appealing to the man or anyone who may have seen him to contact them and realised a CCTV image of him.

Just after 10pm on Monday, Northumbria Police confirmed they had located the man, who was safe.
