Missing 15-year-old last seen in Newcastle city centre is found safe and well

A missing 15-year-old who was last seen on Newgate Street in Newcastle city centre, has now been located safe and well, Northumbria Police have confirmed.

The teenager was thought to be missing since Friday afternoon. Police officers released an image in their attempt to locate her on Saturday afternoon.

However, she now been found safe and well, police confirmed this morning (Sunday, August 25).

A statement from the Northumbria Police read: "We're pleased to update that missing teenager Hind has now been located safe and well."

The force advises having specific information ready when you call 101 about a missing person, including where you saw them, the date and time of when you saw them, and a description of what they were wearing. You can also report a sighting and seek help and advice at Missing People.
