Police searching for missing man last seen in Durham city

A police search has been launched for a missing man who was last seen in Durham.

Durham Constabulary are growing increasingly concerned for the man, who the force has named only as Paul. The 53-year-old was last seen in the Durham city area on Tuesday afternoon.

Anyone who has seen him are being urged to contact the force. Paul is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build and with brown hair and grey stubble.

A statement from the force said: "Have you seen Paul? Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the 53-year-old who was last seen in the Durham City area at around 2.30pm yesterday.

"He was last seen wearing a grey Marks and Spencer’s jumper, a black jacket with a fluorescent strip along the bottom and blue jeans. Paul also wears glasses. If you have any information that could help locate Paul, call 999."
