Police searching for a missing woman in South Tyneside have confirmed that she has been found safe and well.

Last seen in the High Street area of Jarrow, Jordan had been missing since August 23. She initially made contact with a friend on the phone, police said, but had not been seen since.

Northumbria Police and Jordan's family had been growing increasingly concerned for her safety and officers launched a public appeal for help to find her. She has now been found safe and well.
