Police Seek Assistance Identifying Failed Robber at Houston ATM

Police in Houston have asked the public for help in identifying a failed robber who was fought off by a man at an ATM in January.

CCTV footage from January 29 shows a suspect in a hooded sweatshirt approaching a 69-year-old man on S Sam Houston Parkway and pulling a knife.

During the ensuing confrontation between the two men, the victim pulls off the suspect’s sweatshirt, exposing his face. Police said the suspect fled empty-handed.
