Police seek masked man after incident at Glasgow east end business

Police are seeking a masked man following an incident at a business in Glasgow's east end.

CCTV images have been released of the man, described as being of a "heavy build" and "soft-spoken". Police said they believe he could assist with police enquiries into the incident on Edinburgh Road on November 20.

The incident occurred around 8.50pm. The man is described as white and heavy-built, approximately 5'10" and with a soft-spoken local accent. He was wearing a dark hoodie, dark jogging bottoms, an untucked blue T-shirt, black-and-white Adidas trainers and a black scarf or snood.

Police Constable Cameron Smith said, “I would urge the man pictured, or anyone who recognises him or has any information, to please contact us as soon as possible”.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3577 of 20 November 2024. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give information anonymously."
