Police statement after man found dead in Stoke-on-Trent home
Police are no longer treating the death of a man as suspicious. Officers spent a number of hours at a property - on King Street, in Fenton - following the weekend tragedy.
It included forensics combing the property for clues. It followed the discovery of the man's body at 7.35am on Sunday 20 October.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man. Officers attended along with colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service. Sadly, a man in his 60s was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file is being prepared for the coroner."
