Police 'swarm' Birmingham suburb following 'knifeman' reports
Police flooded a city suburb following a 999 report of a man carrying a knife. Officers were called to The Radleys, in Sheldon, just after 3.45pm on Monday (Nov 11) after a male was reportedly seen with a blade.
Despite a search of the area, no one fitting the description was found. The force were said to have stayed in the area until the evening to provide.
Meanwhile, anyone with information is asked to call 101.

West Midlands Police said: "We received a report of a man carrying a knife in The Radleys at just after 3.45pm yesterday (11 November). Officers attended but no-one was found with a weapon.
"We're carrying out further enquiries and anyone with information can contact us via Live Chat on our website, or by calling 101, and quote 20/896524/24."
Locals took to a neighbourhood page on Facebook to voice their concerns on Monday.
Sarah MaCrea-Mills said: "It was swarmed with police at 4 o’clock today bout 6 police cars and vans."
Mark Verhofstad wrote: "What's going on at the Radleys. It's swarmed with police."
