Police tear gas Colombian students protesting sex assaults on public transport in Bogota

Police fired tear gas and stun grenades at university students protesting against sexual assaults of women on public transport in Bogota, Colombia. Video shot on Friday 11 November captures clouds of tear gas and the sound of the explosive charges as riot police attempt to advance on the student protesters, who attempt to repel an armoured police vehicle facing them. There have been protests for several days over the alleged rape of a female student, and a claimed increase in the number of sexual assaults in general, on the Colombian capital's TransMilenio bus network.
