Police update on teenage girls who went missing from North Wales

Police have issued an update on girls who went missing from the Minera area of Wrexham. The teenagers disappeared on Monday morning - sparking fears about their safety.

The 15-year-old and two 14-year-olds were last seen at 5am that day. North Wales Police said they were concerned and appealed for information - later saying they believed they were no longer in the area.

But this afternoon police said that the girls had been found.

They said: "Thank you to those who provided information in relation to the three teenage girls that were reported missing from Minera, Wrexham.

"All three have been safely located."

The news was welcomed on social media. One person said: "I’m glad they’re safe and found."
