Police have urged drivers not to park in a selfish manner after motorists were slapped with fines for parking at a Clackmannanshire ambulance depot.

Officers have this week responded to concerns regarding parking at the depot at Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre, in Sauchie.

They received a number of reports from members of the public regarding the local ambulance depot being obstructed by vehicles parked on the double yellow lines there.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Our local officers attended and numerous fixed penalty notices issued.

“Whilst we cannot be everywhere or answer every report of illegal parking, we do respond, when ongoing incidents allow, and deal with those parking in a manner as to cause obstruction. “We will continue this work.”
