Police used a drone to trace a victim of rape ‘within minutes’.

After receiving a concerning phone call from a teenage girl who told police she was with a man who had raped her, officers used a device fitted with thermal imaging technology to home in on their location.

Lincolnshire Police force said the missing “high risk” 16-year-old called in the early hours of Saturday from the Brown’s Road area of Boston.

She was unable to give her location accurately, though managed to describe still being with her attacker in an old industrial complex, which she told police was surrounded by high fencing.
