Emergency services were called at around 7.30 pm on Friday, June 21 to Sidmouth Road in Honiton, where it was reported that a single-vehicle collision involving a silver Vauxhall Meriva had taken place.

Two passengers of the car, both in their 80s, were seriously injured. Sadly, one of the passengers, a man, died in hospital after the crash. The woman's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
