Police want to speak to man who interrupted burglary while carrying a pizza box

Two unknown men stole jewellery, watches and cash from an indoor market in Bridgwater. Investigating officers from Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for two people who interrupted the burglary to come forward.

Police said the burglars broke into Cornhill Indoor Market at around 12.25am last Wednesday (May 29). One of them was wearing dark clothing while the other was wearing a high-vis jacket.

A man and a woman interrupted the burglary at around 12.35am and challenged them. The male witness was wearing cream trousers and a brown jacket and was carrying a pizza box.

Police are now keen to speak with the pair of witnesses as they investigate the burglary. They said: "We are appealing for two witnesses to aid our enquiries into a burglary in Bridgwater."

The force added: "If you have any information or were the two people who interrupted the suspects, please call us.
