British Transport Police want to speak to two men following an assault on-board a train travelling from Charing Cross to Gravesend on October 10.

Officers have released CCTV images of the two men who may have information which could help with their investigation.

Police say that at 12.45am on Sunday October 10, two men boarded the train and started smoking.

A passenger in the same carriage moved away and challenged them as he walked past.

One of the men jumped up and punched him repeatedly in the face causing his nose to bleed.

The victim then got off the train at New Eltham station in south east London.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “If you recognise them, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 36 of 10/10/21.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
