Police warning as public help in search for missing pensioner
As the search for 79-year-old Anne Stacey goes into its ninth day, police have asked the public to be alert to sightings of her, but not to get 'into difficulty' themselves.
Yesterday Devon and Cornwall Police explained that search dogs and drones had been deployed in the search of Anne who went missing from her home in St Cleer, Liskeard on the afternoon of Friday September 27.
Anne, who uses walking sticks, is deemed vulnerable and concerns have been growing since her disappearance. Police have released two images of Anne as part of their appeal and have said they are continuing their efforts to establish her movements in the days since she was last seen.

"Anne is described as a white female, around 5ft 3ins tall and of slim build. She has a grey hair in a long bob and wears reading glasses. She uses two walking sticks and may be wearing a pair of blue crocs."
In a post on Devon and Cornwall Police's Facebook page, the force added an additional message to followers, saying that officers were still out searching today for the missing 79-year-old.
They went on to add: "While we hugely appreciate that so many people want to get out and help, we must advise caution due to declining weather - we don’t want anyone getting into difficultly. If you live in the St Cleer area, please check gardens/sheds/outbuildings as well as dash cams and doorbell footage for the past week or so. Any information that may help our enquiries, please give us a call or speak to an officer."
If you see Anne or have any information which may help police, please call 999 quoting log 817 of October 3.
