Policeman helps to deliver baby after mother went into labor in tricycle
A hero policeman helped to deliver a baby in a tricycle after the mother went into labor on the road outside the station. The woman was on her way to the hospital when her waters broke in the vehicle in Sorsogon City, the Philippines on Sunday (November 25). With the baby clearly desperate to arrive, the tuktuk driver pulled over in front of the town's police station. On-duty officer Godwin Lladones rushed outside and rolled up his sleeves before calming the mother down and helping to deliver a healthy baby boy. The policeman-turned-midwife immediately provided assistance to deliver the baby. In the video, he is seen asking for scissors and giving instructions to the other police. The mother and baby girl was brought to the Sorsogon Provincial Hospital after the safe delivery. They are both healthy. Godwin said: ''I have some experience of these situations so I knew exactly what to do. I'm happy that both the mother and son are safe.''
