Have your say: Have you enjoyed working from home?

The coronavirus pandemic has made us a nation of home workers.

While many feel working from home gives them more freedom, others prefer their old office working environment.

For some, working from home has taken a toll on their mental health – the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said cases of depression have doubled during the pandemic, with one in five Britons suffering from it.

A report published on Monday warned that working from home could lead to a rise in racism and prejudice as workplace relationships are crucial to breaking down misconceptions.

Workers who crave the social interaction they cannot get at home have been assured that it is normal to miss the office environment.

There is also a price to be paid by businesses – a report published this week revealed that empty offices could cost London firms £13bn.
