The Italian restaurant group will mark its anniversary on September 30 with a one-off cicheti feast dinner at its original Soho site.
The five-course dinner will see Hartnett, Mazzei, restaurateur Stevie Parle, cookery writer Florence Knight and food columnist Rachel Roddy team up in the kitchen, with each chef in charge of an individual course.
Roddy will begin the night with a snack of swordfish arancini, followed by Pastaio chef Parle’s dish of spiced breaded kid goat chop. Sartoria’s Francesco Mazzei will then serve Padano cheese puffs with black truffle and saffron mayonnaise.
Hartnett is then in charge of a larger dish of red mullet and red pepper stew, with Knight preparing a dish of tortellini in brodo.
Bartenders will serve traditional Italian aperitivo cocktails throughout the night – including negronis, bellinis and Aperol Spritzes – before guests are invited to head downstairs for a party in the restaurant’s Campari Room, continuing into the small hours.
For those who can’t make the one-off dinner, the dishes will be available on the Beak Street location’s menu as specials for five weeks prior to the party, with one chef’s creation showcased each week.
