Poor tributes: Flowers being stolen from Green Park for Prince Philip memorial

Footage has captured people ripping up flowers from neighbouring Green Park to leave as 'tributes' to Prince Philip at Buckingham Palace. The budget-conscious 'well-wishers' ignored both Royal requests to donate to charity rather than leave flowers, and the Duke of Edinburgh's famous fondness for the natural world, in order to rip up the Duke's local park and dump their stolen daffodils at his front door. The Royal family and the local authorities have asked people not to gather at royal palaces during the pandemic.
