Popular Belfast city centre restaurant expands with second outlet

A popular city centre restaurant has opened a new venue in a shipping container in East Belfast.

After the success of its premises on Fountain Street, Jumon has opened up a new restaurant in the shipping container at C.S Lewis Square at Holywood Arches as it looks forward to bringing good food and cocktails to the east of the city.

The shipping container is owned by the Eastside Partnership who have recently launched regeneration plans for the Newtownards Road.

Speaking to Belfast Live, Niall Davis from Jumon said that the team were excited to expand their business further across Belfast and are looking forward to providing great food at a good price in a friendly and lively environment.

He: "Following on from the success of our Fountain street outlet in the city, we are beyond excited to bring our concept to the shipping containers in CS Lewis square.

"Our aim has always been really tasty food and drinks at a good price with a lively atmosphere and the unit itself lends itself really well to all that.

"The people of East Belfast seem to be looking forward to us being there and we are looking forward to serving them up some Asian inspired food, well thought out cocktails and classic jumon vibes."
