A popular bubble tea cafe in the city centre is up for sale as the owners plan on moving down south.

Flying Panda on Rose Street opened its doors in the summer of 2022 to serve bubble tea and Japanese souffle pancakes.

While it's a bustling spot, the cafe is on the market with a leasehold of £25,000 as the owners plan to relocate to England.

Since opening two years ago, customers have flocked to the cafe and praised Flying Panda for having 'the best bubble tea in Edinburgh' - giving it five-star reviews on Google.

It will surely be a loss for bubble tea fans. Praising the cafe, one customer said: "At this exceptional bubble tea shop, where the drinks boast an unparalleled taste that tantalises the palate, the experience is further elevated by the incredibly friendly staff who consistently provide warm and attentive service, creating an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere that makes every visit a delightful pleasure for bubble tea enthusiasts."

Another said: "The bubble tea is soo good and the pancakes are very yummy. The taro milk tea is so tasty and the original soufflé pancakes are very fluffy and light. It’s some of the best bubble tea that I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot)."

It attracts locals as well as tourists and, as the advert on RightBiz adds, prospective new owners would make use of the 'state-of-the-art equipment' which will remain on the site at the 'disposal for the new operator to ensure a hassle-free transition.'

The RightBiz ad continues: "The current proprietors are preparing to relocate to England, which is the basis for the business sale. The outlet not only provides a snug seating area for its customers but within its modern decor, there’s potential for versatile usage. It could be effortlessly transformed into a cafe serving food and beverages. The deal includes all of the current state-of-the-art equipment, which will remain at the disposal for the new operator to ensure a hassle-free transition.

"A testament to the bubble tea outlet’s appeal is its modern and chic interior. Brightly lit and furnished with contemporary pieces, it’s a welcomed escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Its location, being both busy and popular, naturally attracts high foot traffic, adding to the business appeal."
