A popular food and nightlife spot in Billericay has reopened after being closed. It will reopen with a fresh new look and name, with a whole new menu and set of offerings.

Velvet and Vino has opened on Billericay high street on the site of what was French Martini. The new restaurant and bar has opened with new staff, owners, managers and a brand new concept.

The spot is now a fresh seafood restaurant, said to be bringing "something special" to Billericay. It is not just an eatery, though, with brilliant dancefloor vibes.

On Fridays and Saturdays, Velvet and Vino will be open until 1am for those looking to extend their evening. The new venue will also be a live entertainment venue, complete with jazz nights, tribute acts and so much more.

The news comes after French Martini left customers puzzled when it was recently closed. Signs were seen being taken down, but residents will soon have a brand new location to enjoy brilliant food and cocktails.

Velvet and Vino is hosting an opening celebration weekend on November 30 from 7pm. They can't wait to see customers come to enjoy the sophisticated new wine bar!

Velvet and Vino said on Instagram: "Velvet and Vino is here to bring something special to Billericay! See you there!"
