Popular Essex pub reopens with 'fresh new look' following six-figure renovation
A popular Essex pub, the Albion, has reopened following a six-figure renovation to add a fresh new look. The team are welcoming customers back today, February 3, where they will see the site's new appearance.
The Albion is a Greene King pub in Rainham which has been completely rejuvenated, showcasing improvements throughout the interior and exterior. Situated on Rainham Road, the Flaming Grill pub has been redecorated with improvements to the internal décor, additional indoor and outdoor seating, and the garden has also received a makeover.
Greene King says of the new pub: "The Albion is a large, attractive modern pub which has plenty of outdoor space with a spacious beer garden making it a perfect destination during the summer for the whole family to enjoy. During the winter months, you can head inside to enjoy the entertainment on offer with 3 TVs with Sky Sports and TNT Sports to watch all the big games along with live bands every weekend.

Our pub is located in the town of Rainham in East London, and is close to a selection of beautiful country parks including Riverside Country Park and Capstone Farm Country Park."
Councillor Sue Ospreay was on hand to cut the ribbon and get a first glimpse of the pub's new look. Carrie Bryan, general manager at the Albion, said: "This refurbishment has allowed us to enhance every aspect of our offering to our customers.
"We hope our visitors will enjoy the new look and feel, and we can’t wait to welcome them back.”
Guests of the Albion can enjoy an extensive menu from a Flamin’ BBQ Meat Sharer, to a variety of flatbreads, burgers and classic dishes.
