A packed programme of events for the 50th Strathaven Gala kicks off with the ever-popular raft race on Sunday, June 2.

Over 50 teams will be making a splash on the river Avon at Craig Bridge in the traditional festival curtain-raiser building up to the gala day on June 8.

Over 200 competitors will be taking to the river, with hundreds more watching the action.

Full-colour gala programmes are now on sale with full details of everything happening during Gala Week, leading up to the crowning of 2024 Gala Queen Faith Gilmour, accompanied by her Champion Zack Dale.
