Possibility of snow in Cambridgeshire next week as cold weather continues
Cambridgeshire could see snow over the next week as the cold weather continues across the county. Google Weather has forecast rain and snow for Wednesday (January 22).
The area will see highs of 4C and lows of 2C. In terms of the outlook for Tuesday to Thursday, the Met Office said: "Fairly benign start to the period, with low cloud and freezing fog. Initially remaining rather cold, however temperatures probably trending slightly upwards in more unsettled conditions perhaps arriving into Thursday."
The Met Office and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issued a cold weather alert last Friday (January 17) that covers the whole of the East of England. The alert is set to last until 9am on Tuesday (January 21) but temperatures will remain low until the end of the week.
