Post thief targets Cannock letterbox after credit card applications – CCTV appeal
A thief is suspected of setting up fake bank and credit card accounts at a Staffordshire address before then raiding a letterbox at the property. The suspected fraudster is believed to have applied for bank accounts and credit cards in the victim’s name and then tried to steal a post from the letterbox in Foxfields Way, Huntington.
The thief is said to have targeted the home between Thursday, 14 November, and Tuesday, 19 November, with police alerted on Wednesday, November 20. Now Staffordshire Police has released a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
The man has a beard and is pictured wearing a black cap and a bright yellow high-vis jacket. He also appears to have items in his left hand.
