'Potential options' being worked up for future of William Booth House
The future of William Booth house remains unclear, however the council have said that it is 'working up a range of potential options'.
Previously owned by the Salvation Army, Hull City Council purchased the building for just £1 after the charity made the decision to not tender for a seven-year-contract due to financial viability.
Hull City Council say that no plans are set in stone with what to do with William Booth House, but are exploring different options.

A spokesperson for Hull City Council said: “We took possession of William Booth House in August this year, and we are still in discussion with Homes England, which provided the original funding, and are working up a range of potential options with regard to the building’s future use.”
In a previous article, the council have ruled out the use of the premises as asylum seeker accommodation during talks with the Salvation Army.
