Power Lines Spark as Blizzard Moves Through Minnesota

Power lines sparked along a New Richland highway, as a major storm brought blizzard conditions to central and southern Minnesota on Wednesday, December 23.

The National Weather Service urged people not to travel due to the risk of catching frostbite in “dangerously cold” wind chills.
