A power station in Lithgow, New South Wales, was partially demolished on November 24 to make way for a renewable energy hub, according to local news reports.

The power station had been idle since 2014, and was acquired by Greenspot in late 2020. A battery storage system has been proposed for the site, according to Greenspot’s website.
