Prank phone call receptionist 'commits suicide'

The receptionist at King Edward VII hospital which has been looking after Kate Middleton has been found dead after a suspected suicide.

It comes just two days after a pair of Australian radio DJs made a prank call to the hospital pretending to be the Queen and Prince Charles checking up on Kate.

A police spokesman confirmed that a body had been found at a nearby address, but refused to speculate.

"Police were called at approximately 9.35 am this morning to reports of a woman found unconscious at an address in West London," he told ITV News.

"London Ambulance service attended, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Inquires continue, and at this stage the death is being treated as unexplained."
