'Pregnant' Trumps Descend on Helsinki for US-Russia Summit Protest

Women’s rights protesters wore comical Donald Trump masks and pregnancy bellies at a demonstration in Helsinki Senate Square, Finland, as the American President met Russian President Vladimir Putin for a highly anticipated summit.

Members of the protest group #ResistGag attracted attention as they campaigned against Trump’s policies on reproductive rights, Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat reported. The so called “global gag” rule prevents non-governmental healthcare staff that receive US funding internationally from discussing abortion with patients, the report said.

The policy was reinstated by Trump in 2017, the BBC reported.
