A baby boy born at 22 weeks and being cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit at a hospital in Temple, Texas, had a special moment as he raised his tiny hand as his father sang to him.
Heartwarming video by mom Emily Johnson shows her husband Daniel singing Hallelujah Here Below by Elevation Worship, with son Remington Hayze raising a hand right on cue at the word “Hallelujah.”
Johnson told Storyful their baby was born with “21 percent chance of making it past the first 24 hours.” He has “amazed doctors with his strength,” she said.
Daniel Johnson shared the clip to his TikTok, writing, “Proof that God is faithful.”

- (SINGING) Should the fire that once burned bright become an ember my eyes can't see. I will remember your sacrifice.
I will abide in your love for me. Oh, we sing hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. [CRYING] we sing hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. [SNIFFING]
