Preston's Spud Bros cause huge queues as they raise money for BBC Children in Need
Preston's Spud Bros seem to cause queues and chaos wherever they go.
This morning, eager foodies were keen to grab themselves their very own jacket potato as they lined up in Salford for a taste of the TikTok famous dish. Pictures show a huge line of people waiting for the van in MediaCity today as they brave the rain for a warm meal.
Also known as the 'Hot Potato Tram', famed for its position on Preston's Flag Market, was parked up in Salford to take part in a 'spud-a-thon' for BBC Children in Need. The business is run by brothers Jacob and Harvey Nelson who have amassed 108 million likes on TikTok and have even collaborated with American singer Joe Jonas.

Manchester Evening News reports that Spud Bros parked up their van at 10am today and 250 jacket potatoes were available on a first-come-first-served basis. Jacob previously said he had heard "people would be queuing up at 6am".
The spud-a-thon will last for 30 hours and help raise money for BBC Children in Need, an annual event airing from the BBC Studios at MediaCity later tonight. Customers will also be able to try out the limited edition 'Spudsy' potato as part of the fundraiser, made up of cheese, beans, crispy onions, nacho cheese sauce and spots of coloured mayo to resemble the ones on the mascot Pudsey Bear.
This spud will set you back £10 - but funds raised will go directly to the charity. Other 'spud sellers' across the UK will also be taking part in the event - including Smokey Mose, Spudlad, Tatie Lady, Jacket Potato Ladies and Tattie Tim.
After their visit across the border in Manchester, Jacob and Harvey will return to Preston Flag Market from 10pm on Friday until 4pm on Saturday.
