Pret has also launched a £5 baguette deal for January - customers are now able to buy any full-size baguette with Pret’s crisps or popcorn for £5.
The move will spark a price war with its rival Greggs, as both companies stare down the barrel of double-digit inflation.
However, Pret will still be more expensive than Greggs.

The Made Simple Granary Sandwich range - egg mayo, BLT, tuna and cucumber, mature cheddar and pickles, chicken salad, ham salad, ham and cheese, and hummus and vegetables, with prices starting from £2.99.
Chicken & Avo Protein Box - British chicken served with sliced avocado, soy edamame beans, spinach, free-range hard-boiled eggs, and a lemon wedge, along with a drizzle of French dressing and sesame seeds.
The PLT (vegan) - Malted bread, roasted shiitake, chestnut mushroom rashers, sliced tomatoes, salad greens, a dollop of vegan black pepper, and parsley mayo.
Plant Ploughmans Baguette (vegan) - Smoky vegan cheese accompanied by hot chipotle ketchup and pickled mustard, finished with salad mix, red onion slices, and roasted tomatoes in Pret's white baguette.
Spicy No’Duja Toasted Focaccia (vegan) - Rosemary focaccia filled with red pesto, mushroom No'duja, smoky vegan cheeze, red pepper, and fresh basil leaves.
Spicy No’Duja and Tomato Macaroni (vegan) - Pasta tubetti rigati with red pesto, roasted red pepper sauce, spinach, and tomatoes, finished with a layer of panko breadcrumbs and a mushroom No'Duja topping.
Bacon & Egg Breakfast Beans Box - Breakfast beans with beechwood smoked bacon, roasted mushrooms, and a soft poached egg.
Halloumi & Egg Breakfast Beans Box - Breakfast beans with baked halloumi, spinach, and a soft poached egg.
