Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the reboot of the teen mystery drama, had added three more series regulars.
As reported by Deadline, the revival has cast Doogie Kameāloha, MD star Alex Aiono, Hereditary's Mallory Bechtel and the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy's Eric Johnson as a popular jock, a queen bee mean girl, and a domineering family patriarch sheriff, respectively.
Previously, the show announced the casting of Good Witch's Bailee Madison, Lethal Weapon's Chandler Kinney and Kally's Mashup actor Maia Reficco. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who is behind this reboot, recently shared a photo of the trio together.
Loosely based on Sara Shepard's novel series of the same name, Pretty Little Liars is centred around a group of high school students who, on top of all the usual dramas teens on television deal with, are also being terrorised by a mysterious figure known only as 'A'.
Pretty Little Liars isn't the only teen drama that is getting the reboot, as Gossip Girl's new 2021 iteration dropped its first bunch of episodes, with critical opinion noticeably mixed on how well it compares to the original.
One thing that we at Digital Spy think it definitely does better is its representation, treating many LGBTQ+ characters identities as a matter of fact, as well exploring storylines that are rarely seen on TV through a same-sex lens.
Pretty Little Liars, as well as its previous revival Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, are available to watch now on BBC iPlayer. Both the original Gossip Girl and its own reboot are also available to watch on the service.
